In Sicily, Jean Gazignaire – Mul Group has set up a sustainable chain with a producer of organic lemon and orange essential oils.

The climatic conditions of the year 2021/2022 announce a difficult harvest. The cold and frost in spring in the middle of the fruit set, a scorching summer and then an unprecedented Mediterranean hurricane episode at the end of October, « Medicane », have resulted in a 20% to 30% drop in fruit production compared to 2021.

Despite these climatic impacts, thanks to this partnership we can guarantee the availability of these essential oils.
