Benzoin (Styrax Tokinensis) Laos

In the mountains of northern Laos, benzoin tears are collected by climbing the trees of Styrax, in the same way as for their gemmage, six months ago. This resinous exudate is then sorted and graded from A to D. Thanks to the work of our Lao producer partner, we are able to guarantee complete traceability of our batches. We process a mix of grades thus guaranteeing the best possible valorization of all the products of the harvest. It is in our facilities that we extract a sweet, sweet and vanilla resinoid from ethanol.
