In line with its Social Responsibility approach and the current policy of agricultural revitalization, Jean GAZIGNAIRE – Groupe MUL associated with the municipalities of Caussols, Cipières, Gourdon and Gréolières, the Regional Natural Park of the Préalpes d’Azur and with the support of the Sophia Antipolis Agglomeration Community (CASA), relaunches the cultivation of fine lavender in the Pays de Grasse.
After several phases of studies initiated in 2019, a first planting was born at a farmer in Gourdon on 3,000 m² and the Group started planting on a plot of 4 ha in Caussols last June. Other plantations will follow on the land of partner municipalities with the aim of supporting farmers in a sustainable program with the assurance of agricultural support and the purchase of productions, an ongoing program of Fair For Life Organic certification.
Because Jean GAZIGNAIRE – Groupe MUL ‘s commitment is a commitment to safeguarding a local tradition and heritage, Jean-Marie Ghibaudo presented yesterday at the Gréolières Lavender Festival its profession that it has been carrying out with passion for nearly 30 years within the MUL Group.
